#153 - Master Adobe Lightroom

Mum enjoying her favourite past time.

The Why:

This was apart of my quest to make something big on the Internet. I was in the process of starting a luxury sleepwear brand and I needed images to pop on social media. The sleepwear brand never got off the ground, but the skills remain… sort of!

The How:

I had Adobe Lightroom as part of my subscription package and started using this software to organise my collections and edit my photos. I followed some tutorials over at Skillshare and these were really helpful! I was stoaked at the level of improvement I made by watching some tutorials and following along. I like the dark and moody vibes, so this is a tutorial I followed.

Lessons Learnt:

  • Take the time to understand how Lightroom works, before you just start bashing things. Easier said than done, however!

  • Don’t push the levers too far. In saying that, you need to push boundaries to find your creative limits!

Status:

  • I ended my Adobe package for the time being.

  • Will get back on this when I get into photography… which is when I sign up for a Photography course!
